Where to Buy Beef Brisket for Smoking Richmond
1. Alamo BBQ
Try the "Texas Style" Brisket Sandwich with a side of the Texas Caviar (Southwest Black Bean & Corn Salad) was an interesting combo but hit the spot.
Best BBQ in Richmond, hands down. The BBQ sauce makes the meal, the brisket is tender and the jalapeño Mac-n-cheese is just as good as everyone says. Eat here and you won't be disappointed.
Get the big grilled burrito with brisket!!! You won't be sorry.
Brisket? Best in town. But don't sleep on that smoked sausage with habanero. That's something special.
Beef brisket is great!
The brisket is the best - fatty or lean you can't go wrong. Jalapeño Mac & cheese, collards and potato salad are the most popular sides for a reason.
Beef brisket us awesome!
My fav meal in RVA. Beef brisket sandwich, collard greens and mac n cheese.
Chicken, pulled pork, brisket. It's all great.
4. Asado
Fish tacos and a stuffed burrito with brisket were so so so good!
Awesome place to get Some Wings and Tacos 😍. Try the wings with Honey BBQ
This is the best place on the East Coast for fish tacos! They remind me of my favorite taco place in San Diego - Tin Fish! Fresh ingredients and great prices too!
Guinness. Try the brisket tacos, you will love them.
Cheese steak is abominable. Shepherd's pie is incredible.
The crab/shrimp dip is awesome.
7. Penny Lane Pub
Get the brisket sandwich or the fish and chips. Both fantastic.
The steak salad was lovely. And the cider was a lovely find. A hidden treasure!
Collect pogs.
8. Bigs BBQ VCU
Had brisket cheese fries! Awesome!
Subpar BBQ. Brisket sandwich was tender but greasy, lukewarm and required too much sauce. Greens portion was tiny and needed seasoning. None of the fried sides are homemade INCLUDING THE HUSH PUPPIES!
I'm not sure you can go wrong here. Pork, chicken, BBQ, faux pork. You can gets bucket of PBR for $5!
Unmatched selection of whisky, rye, bourbon. Taste here what you won't find other places! And get the brisket nachos ;)
Veggie BBQ sandwich with green bean fries or mac'n'cheese. For dessert try the fried ricotta. Drink whatever Mack gives you.
Beware: The drinks are strong as hell. You won't stay sober long.
10. On the ROX
Brisket Bites a must starter.
Great happy hour. Always have a good groupon, and the service is fantastic.
Half off happy hour. Bacon happy hour. Duck fat fries.
11. Qdoba Mexican Grill
12. Lulu's
The chicken and waffles comes with sausage gravy, eggs and potatoes and everything tasted great. Prices were reasonable and the portions were perfect
Amazing!!!!!!!!
get the pumpkin roll.
13. O'Tooles Restaurant & Pub
A locals joint but don't be scared. The requisite Guinness is on tap and they make a fine burger, personal favorite is the English burger. If you plan to go for St. Patty's day go early.
Coldest draft beer in Richmond!
Chris looks great in his kilt on St. Pattys day
14. Millie's
Always a great place for lunch. It's a little pricey, but the food is always delicious! Servers are always cheerful and attentive.
Ask a Richmonder where the best place to get brunch is and Millie's will come up 50% of the time. Prepare to wait, but they keep the Mimosas and Bloodies flowing. Best advice is to get there early.
Terrific hole in the wall place off the map. All the locals know about it ... You should too. 100% a must go
Want the perfect movie experience? This is the place! No one under 21 and they make both excellent food and libations. Why go sit with the hoardes when you can sit in big leather chairs and enjoy?
No kids here?!? And they serve booze?!? Fuck yesssssssss
Wait!... A movie, a menu, a waitress and alcoholic beverages? Now all I need is a washing machine that dries, folds and puts the $#*@ away! @ericjhatch
